Heather Carter
FOUNDER & PRINCIPLE
Heather Carter is the founder of Venture Vitamin, and the General Partner of First Money Fund, an early-stage venture fund focused on health tech and aging.
With more than a decade of experience as a founder, operator, and investor, Heather has built and scaled multiple companies, including Soothe; Heal – Doctors to Your Door (acquired by Humana); and Coterie (acquired by The Riveter). She continues to advise both category-leading organizations and emerging startups.
Heather is also an investor in AARP’s AgeTech Collaborative and a mentor with the National Institute on Aging. She authored The Business Case for Investing in the Longevity Economy, and her work has been featured in Forbes, Fortune, and USA Today, where her op-ed “America, You’re Getting Old” appeared.

Liat Myers
PARTNER
Liat Myers is a partner in the Venture Vitamin tank tank. She brings seasoned marketing strategy and has deep experience in healthcare, hospitality, and consumer engagement. Her career began in medical education, and then she went on to Forest Laboratories, where she was part of the team that brought Lexapro to market - one of the most successful antidepressant launches of its generation.
Liat later served as a long-standing marketing leader at Starwood Hotels, where her teamearned the prestigious Freddie Award for excellence in loyalty and customer strategy. Her cross-industry background gives her a rare ability to translate complex products into compelling, human-centered brands.

David Barzilai, MD, PhD, MBA, MS, DipABLM
ADVISORY BOARD
Dr. David Barzilai is a longevity physician, CEO of Barzilai Longevity Consulting, and founding faculty member and Trustee of the Geneva College of Longevity Science. He serves as a lecturer at Harvard Medical School, holds dual doctorates (MD/PhD), and is board-certified in lifestyle medicine as a Diplomate of the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine (DipABLM).
An internationally regarded consultant, keynote speaker, and thought leader in longevity best practices, Dr. Barzilai is known for translating cutting-edge research into practical, evidence-based strategies to extend and optimize healthspan.

Carmen Palafox
ADVISORY BOARD
Carmen Palafox brings over two decades of finance expertise to her role as Founder and Managing Partner at 2045 Ventures, where she leads investments in early-stage technology startups across Artificial Intelligence, ClimateTech, Fintech, HealthTech, Enterprise SaaS, and consumer sectors.
Her strategic investment approach and deep industry expertise have earned her numerous accolades, including recognition as a Rising Star in VC by the NVCA, 11 investors to watch in the VC industry by Venture Forward, and a feature as one of LA’s Powerful Women by LA Magazine.
Carmen previously served as Vice President at Dimensional Fund Advisors, scaling their global investment operations. She now shares her expertise as an Adjunct Professor at USC Marshall, teaching venture capital. Carmen holds an MBA from Berkeley-Haas, an MA in sports management from USF, and a BA in economics from USC.

Michele Raphael

Michele Raphael is an award-winning journalist and communications leader. A contributor to Travel + Leisure and USA TODAY magazines, with an increasing focus on longevity, she previously held such roles as director of publications for USC’s Annenberg Norman Lear Center think tank and features editor for Los Angeles Times. She is the founder of boutique agency Maximizing Media, which leverages strategic communications to elevate how brands, leaders, nonprofits, publishers, and tech companies gain recognition, increase impact, and develop partnerships.
A National Press Foundation fellow, she holds an M.A. in Journalism from USC Annenberg. She lives in Los Angeles with her family.

Anthony Tang

Tony Tang is a global investor and capital markets leader with extensive experience across technology, consumer, and real estate sectors. He oversees SQLI Investments, his family office, where he deploys capital into early-stage and growth-stage companies in the U.S. and Asia. Throughout his career in banking and private investing, Tony has led major transactions, cultivated high-value cross-border partnerships, and supported founders as they navigate financing, expansion, and strategic growth.
Known for his disciplined approach and deep network across institutional and family office ecosystems, Tony advises select companies and funds, with a focus on health, longevity, and next-generation infrastructure.
